“Generous Maslenitsa”
Traditional Russian amusements, games and competitions, performances of folk groups, theatrical performances, the work of interactive sites, an exhibition of Siberian masters’ products, Maslenitsa treat are available. All this awaits guests of the holiday in the central square and in the museum-reserve “Shushenskoe” on the last Sunday before the Great Lent.

“Harmony”
Annual interregional festival-competition of piano ensembles. A music festival and a creative laboratory for young musicians and their teachers. Within the framework of the festival master classes from masters of musical performance are held.
April 8-9
“Plyasitsa”
Interregional festival-competition of children’s choreographic collectives. Young talents from all regions of Siberia compete in different nominations, it ends with a big gala concert. This festival of dance and good mood is held in Shushenskoye every two years.

Annual all-Russian competitions on orienteering in the territory of Shushensky Bor National Park.

“Pentecost in Shushenskoye”

Be sure to take part in the rituals, wander through the old streets of the museum-reserve, take a picture in the folk costume, ride on the self-propelled wonder bast shoe and do not forget to put your birch wreath into the Shush River (according to the popular belief, how it will float, and life will develop).

Festival “World of Siberia”
This is a unique ethnic space, where you can immerse yourself for three days to get acquainted with the wonderful world of culture of different people. The festival gathers a huge number of participants and guests from different countries. It has many sites, there are performances of real stars of world ethnic music on the main stage also.

“Sayan fortress”
The festival of Cossack traditions takes place every year on the last Saturday of July in Sayansk village of Shushensky District. It is in the same place where in 1718 the most southern Russian fortress on the banks of the Yenisei was founded by the Cossacks. Guests are introduced to the history and traditions of the Siberian Cossacks. The performances of the Cossack choir, horse riding, visiting the Cossacks museum and tasting of the dishes of the Cossack cuisine are available.

Siberia Kart Racing Cup
Kart racing perfectly suited the Shushen Land and gathers a large audience of fans of technical sports. The strongest racers from different regions from the Urals to Transbaikal compete on a specialized kart circuit.

“The Day of Multinational Siberia”
In this colorful event, you can touch the culture of many people living in Siberia. Magnificent bright costumes, national metochions, unusual dishes, bright dances and songs in different languages. All this you can see at the festival of fraternity of peoples on the embankment of the Yenisei River.

Regional theater festival “Rampa”
Festival of amateur theater groups of the south of Krasnoyarsk Krai. Here you will meet new productions, original director’s ideas and their embodiment, original actors. “Rampa” promises to highlight the theater life of our region.
“The Day of the Yenisei”
Like a great river, the Yenisei Day unites people with diverse interests: painters and writers, athletes and artists, masters of folk art and outdoor enthusiasts. It is timed to the World Tourism Day and is held on the last Saturday of September on the embankment of Yenisei River in Shushenskoye. Various exhibitions, autumn fair, sports competitions are organized.
